Advanced Precision Technology Supports Development and Production of Sophisticated Products
A pioneer of super precision die-making technology. Suruga Seiki is always behind the development and volume production scenes of information processing equipment, industrial machinery and automotive parts. Underlying the technical excellence is the “ hard metallurgy” for making submicron level dies, from special alloys of high wear resistance, rigidity, and compressive strength, to meet demanding needs of the customers. Equally unique is the “sintered metallurgy” for compacting and sintering powdered material in precision, hard alloy dies for low-cost, volume producing parts for optical communications. The fine machining technology, resulting from many years of die making, has opened a door to “precision press working” for continuos production of very thin (30) metal tape, something that could be achieved conventionally only by etching. The precision parts, supported by those proprietary technologies and processes, are manufactured by the latest three-dimensional die designing and a total production system, and supplied under an inclusive quality assurance to the customers in virtually all industries in Japan and overseas.
