The Punch & Die Manufacturing Division develops and manufactures die-related parts used in metal plasticity processing by presses. We handle diverse products such as punches and dies, guides, and springs. Our standard punches and dies, used to actually shape metal, hold the top market share in Japan. The production of press-die products has been SURUGA SEIKI's principal business since 1966, two years after our establishment. This is the foundation on which the company has built its core competence in precision processing technologies.
In addition to processing technologies such as cutting, grinding, and polishing, SURUGA SEIKI is refining all of its business processes, such as product development, design, and quality control, in a quest for total technical capability that no other company can match. Another key mission is to globalize our press die components business, whose end users include a broad range of industries, including automobiles and home electrical appliances. SURUGA SEIKI already operates plants in such countries as the United States, China, Thailand, and Vietnam, supplying parts to both Japanese, local and overseas companies. Through the production of small lots of diverse products that offer high quality and short delivery times, SURUGA SEIKI will continue to operate as a die part manufacturer globally renowned for reliability.
